Overview

Radha Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit organization founded, with the intent of diminishing social injustices and suffering endured by the poor and disadvantaged members of society via improving and enriching their lives with Food, healthcare and eye care services – wherever and whenever possible.

Furthermore, Radha Foundation is a non-government funded organization solely empowered by private financial donations by compassionate and generous individuals who acknowledge the suffering experienced by the poor and disadvantaged, and contribute towards helping alleviate the suffering and heartache that plagues their lives. The compassionate, sympathetic and generous individuals residing within the tri-valley region and afar who provide financial support and/or their valuable time to volunteer in our community-based charitable and fundraising events are immensely appreciated and vital in achieving success towards improving the lives of the poor and disadvantaged.

Fighting Hunger

Feeding more than 1 million people a year in India

Radha foundation Feeds more than 1 million poor people every year throughout India. We’ve been fighting hunger in this way for more than 5 years.

Fighting Hunger in United States

Since 2011, we’ve been feeding hungry people in the USA. We prepare, cook and serve meals for the homeless and hungry every month throughout the year. We also collect and distribute clothing, household items or food staples for communities in need. In the Bay Area, we collect food, for distribution to local food kitchens, food pantries, and directly into local communities.

Current project: "The Gift of Vision"

Currently, Radha Foundation is in the process of alleviating a social issue that inflicts suffering in the lives of countless disadvantaged and poor members of our community: vision impairment, especially children who are suffering and in dire need of cataract surgery. Vision is one of the most precious gifts that is capable of transforming lives. For individuals who are in need of eyeglasses and/or eye care treatment services, but cannot afford the costly fees due to financial hardships, Radha Foundation may be able to provide eyeglasses and/or fully comprehensive quality eye care service, such as cataract surgery, in a safe and friendly environment, completely free of charge.
